The Four Energies of Transformation

We all move through seasons of growth. Sometimes gently. Sometimes through challenge. Over time, I’ve come to see that most of us cycle through four core energies: Release, Attract, Connect, and Evolve. Sometimes they unfold in order. Sometimes they overlap. Sometimes we revisit one again and again.

Release creates space. Attract invites in what’s ready. Connect restores meaning and belonging. Evolve is the natural unfolding of who we are becoming. Each energy supports a different phase of transformation — both internally and in the spaces we live in. In this article, we’re exploring Connect—what it really means, how to recognize it, and how energy art can support you through it.

When you enter the Connect phase, something settles. You feel less alone inside your own life. A deeper sense of belonging begins to take root — within yourself, with the people who matter, with the natural world, and with something greater than you. What you’ve released and attracted starts to integrate into something meaningful and shared. Instead of striving or pushing forward, this stage invites steadiness. It helps you feel supported, grounded, and aligned with what truly matters.

What It Really Means to Connect

Connection means recognizing that you are part of something larger than yourself.

It’s about feeling:

• grounded through nature

• aligned with the greater rhythms of life

To connect is to remember:

• that you belong — and always have

Step into the Light — The Transformation of Spring

In Resurrection Bay, where the snow-capped mountains meet the sea, something sacred stirs each spring. The long Alaskan winter begins to soften. Ice melts, light returns, and nature takes a deep, collective breath.

That’s the energy behind my Transformation of Spring collection—part of the Magic of Alaska series. This artwork is more than just a celebration of a season; it’s a reflection of how we come back to life.

This series invites you to let go of the heaviness of winter—whether that’s external or emotional—and open to what’s waiting to bloom. It’s about transformation, the slow, subtle kind that starts beneath the surface and suddenly bursts into color and clarity.

A Poem That Inspired The Art.

I created this poem to express the unique energy of this area in spring, and the poem inspired the energy art.

“In Resurrection Bay, where mountains kiss the sea, Spring emerges with tentative glee. From the depths of winter’s icy embrace, Comes the promise of renewal, in this sacred space.
No more ice to slip on, or darkness to dwell on.
With each passing day, the light extends, As hope and warmth grow, and our hearts mend.
With each melting snowflake, a promise untold, Of renewal and transformation, a story unfolds. Beneath the thawing surface, life stirs awake, A tapestry of colors, a joy to partake.
Bears rouse from slumber, nature’s heartbeat revives, In the dance of renewal, where light thrives
Beneath the azure sky, the land awakes, With each bud that bursts, a new claim is staked.
In this land of rugged grace, Nature’s art finds its rightful place. From barren cold to vibrant hue, Transformation blooms, fresh and new.
In Resurrection Bay, where mountains meet the sky, Transformation whispers with each breath, a sigh. For here, in this cradle of earth and sea, The promise of new beginnings sets us free.”

What the Seal Can Teach You About Thriving Through Change

Sometimes, we need a little reminder from nature to help us move through life with more ease and joy. This week, Seal arrives as your gentle guide, offering wisdom that speaks to both the quiet soul and the playful heart.

 

Seals teach us the beauty of solitude. They spend much of their time alone, floating in peaceful waters or resting on sunlit shores. If you’ve been feeling the need to pull inward, honor that. Solitude is not loneliness—it’s a chance to recharge, reflect, and realign with your inner truth.

But Seals are also social when the moment is right. They gather, play, and communicate in their own unique ways. This is your invitation to open up when it feels safe and right.
