Birds provide endless inspiration for creating beautiful designs with the intricate patterns, colors, and textures of their feathers!
In my article Birds of a Feather- What Birds Can Teach Us About Designing the Perfect Room, I shared some ideas for one of those flat lays inspired by realistic photo art of Pintail duck and eagle feathers. I designed a room with a calm and earthy feeling that reminds me of being in the forest using the feather art and colors of nature.
Flat lay and Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design

This second flat lay, to me, evoked a much more glamorous style and feeling, like a cross between Modern Global Style and Hollywood Glam.
Flat lay and Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
I am not sure what bird the feathers in the photo came from, but the art is less realistic and more stylized. The black and gold color combination felt very luxurious, and like a great place to add a variety of metallic finishes.
The natural theme of bird feathers still evoked a sense of nature, inviting wood, stone, and natural materials such as velvet, leather, and cotton. I selected green, which is a wonderful color of nature, for the fabrics and added plants.
I decided to create a living room, that was dark and moody, with black or deep chocolate walls, and lots of different gold-tone metals. Dramatic lighting enhances the art and brings out the shine of the various brass and gold-toned lights and accessories.
Instead of the photo in the flat lay, I found several other art prints of feathers in black and gold that I used as inspiration.
I could see this combination in a living room, master bedroom, master bathroom, or powder room. How about you?
I decided to try a living room. A flat lay can first evolve into a drawing or floor plan to get a feel for how the room will work spatially.
Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
To get the feeling of drama and glamour, I decided to try the idea of a black wall. I love it! It beautifully highlights the feather art and sets off the beautiful greens in the furniture. Of course, lighting, strategically placed and lots of it, is important when using black.
Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design. Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design. Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
For variety, I tried a textured light-colored wallpaper similar in color to the feathers to give the room a more light and airy feeling. I think I like the black better for a glamorous feeling.
Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
And here is it in a shade of off-white. While still pretty, I like the black walls best, and the feeling of dimension the textured wallpaper gives over the white walls. How about you?
The moral of this flat lay tale is that you can use natural elements like bird feathers to inspire glamorous, dramatic, modern, and sleek designs while still bringing the outdoors in. And, don’t be scared to use black!
Bird feathers can inspire many design styles. Look for my next article on the design for my third flat lay inspired by bird feathers.

Saturday Night Live Art Shows- Globally Inspired, Soulfully Aligned- Turkish Style
Welcome to Saturday Night Live Art Shows. “Globally Inspired, Soulfully Aligned” is The New Design Frontier.
This is about creating global style interiors with my Aligned Design philosphy. It captivates Global Design’s worldly charm with Aligned Design’s holistic approach to create external beauty and internal harmony.
In this show I show you how I created an Edesign that is aesthetically pleasing and soulfully enriching. In creating your perfect space, energy is the foundation of everything.
The energy of Turkish style is deeply rooted in its rich cultural heritage, reflecting it’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Turkish interiors harmonize Byzantine, Ottoman, Persian, and Central Asian influences, giving it a wonderful exotic feeling. Turkish style is known for it;s beautiful rugs, lighting, and symbolism including tulips, the evil eye, and fish.
My art captures that energy and those symbols.
My designs are collages of AI and layers of fractal energy art, reflecting Turkish style and supportive energy messages. See my art on the wall and chairs of my Edesign. This art is infused with layers to inspire you to live on the path with heart, and to release attachments to what you do not need. Some of the art is hard to see but it is there, with subliminal messages. Even if you don’t see it, your brain does.
Raise the vibe in your space today. Great design starts with energy. Surround yourself with art that reminds you what is important and enhances the energy of your space and your potential. When your space is better, you are better. When you are better, the world is better. The world needs you.
My unique Interior Design philosophy combines The ART of beauty The SCIENCE of color The ENERGY of well-being. Art + Science + Energy = Magic.
See my Turkish style collection here. Learn more about Turkish style in my blog article, Get the Look-Global Style- Turkish #2. See my “Globally Inspired, Soulfully Aligned” collection here. See all my AI/ fractal art here.
Globally Inspired and Soulfully Aligned is a New Design Frontier. I have created a collection of collages created with AI and fractal energy art that combine Global Design styles worldly charm with the energy, alignment and emotional nurturing of my Aligned Design’s holistic approach. It’s a marriage of external beauty and internal harmony, ensuring that your surroundings are not just aesthetically pleasing but also soulfully enriching.
Each piece has subliminal energy messages from layers of fractal art designed to uplift and support you. My Heart of Morocco collection includes four layers from my Path with Heart collection and also my Attachments of the Heart Design.
My Path with Heart series emphasizes “All paths lead to the same place in the end. The important thing is that you pick a path with heart, do what you love, and enjoy the journey.” If you look closely, you will see numerous hearts from this collection throughout the design.
Each piece is also overlayed with my “Attachments of the Heart” design. The meaning of this piece is “Buddha said “the root of suffering is attachment”. The biggest cause of suffering in our lives comes from our attachments, or expectations of the way we think things should be.When we don’t get what we want or how we want it, we are unhappy. Attachments of the heart to our lovers, family, pets, and friends are often the hardest attachments to release. The key is to love, but not be attached to the outcome. Let it be what it is”.
While you may not see this large heart because of the transparancy of the design, and you may not notice all the small hearts, the subliminal message still comes through. The message is to live the path with heart without being attached to things for maximum well-being.
What is Turkish Style?
Turkish style is warm and inviting, earthy and exotic. There is an abundance of warm earth tones with pops of beautiful color. lots of patterns and texture and there is a slightly more rustic feel. It is simple, soft and relaxing.
The energy of Turkish style interior design is deeply rooted in its rich cultural heritage, reflecting the country’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, bridging diverse civilizations over the millennia.

“Heart of turkey” Aligned Energy Art
Everything is energy. The energy of your space affects how you feel and can support you in reaching your potential. Energy art can serve as the basis for the design of the room, and how it feels. My “Heart of Turkey” energy art serves as the foundation for the style, colors and energy of this Edesign of a living room.

Globally Inspired, Soulfully Aligned: The New Design Frontier
Globally Inspired Styles with the Soul of Aligned Design
I’ve always been inspired by global design styles — the way they gather beautiful stories, textures, and colors from around the world. Each piece, from the art to the decor, carries a story, inviting us to connect with different cultures and experiences, weaving a rich tapestry of meaning into our spaces.
In my philosophy of Aligned Design, we focus not just on beauty, but on creating environments that resonate deeply with who we are and what we value. Global style naturally supports this, helping us forge a connection — not only to the wider world but also to ourselves.
When we Connectthrough design, we invite a sense of unity, belonging, and soulful alignment into our homes. A space becomes more than just a place to live — it becomes a reflection of the beauty of the world and the peace within us.
This blending of global inspiration and inner resonance is, to me, a new design frontier — one that honors the world’s diversity while supporting our personal journey toward deeper connection and authenticity.
If you love global design styles, you’re in good company — I do too. There’s something magical about how they bring together beautiful stories, textures, and colors from all around the world. Every piece tells a story and adds a little soul to your space.
At the same time, Aligned Design is all about creating spaces that don’t just look good — they feel good. It’s about making sure your home reflects deeper values and feels true to who you are.
So how do these two come together? Global style helps you Connect— with the world, with different cultures, and most importantly, with yourself. It brings a sense of unity and meaning into your home, creating a space that’s as rich in spirit as it is in beauty.
It’s like giving your space a passport and a purpose — globally inspired, soulfully aligned.

Connecting Globally Inspired Style and Aligned Design
“Heart of Morocco #2” energy art and Edesign by Mary Ann Benoit of Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
There’s a natural connection between globally inspired design and Aligned Design. Styles from places like Morocco, Greece, Turkey, India, and Mexico — and the free-spirited vibe of Bohemian design — bring so much heart, color, and story into a space.
When you blend that with the idea of Aligned Design — creating spaces that feel as good as they look — you get something really special. Spaces that aren’t just beautiful, but full of meaning, soul, and connection. It’s a way of living that feels good inside and out.
The Beauty of Art
Globally inspired and Bohemian styles are all about weaving together rich stories from around the world. With their layers of color, texture, and soul, they create spaces that feel alive and full of meaning. Bohemian style, with its free-spirited, eclectic energy, adds a playful depth that fits beautifully with my Aligned Design philosophy — creating spaces that don’t just look good, but feel like home for your soul.
My energy art is designed to complement these styles — capturing the beauty and essence of Moroccan, Greek, Turkish, Indian, Mexican, and Bohemian influences. Each piece is layered with fractal energy art, helping you stay aligned with who you truly are and supporting your goals energetically.
In my Connect Through a Tapestry of Modern Global Styles collection, you’ll find art inspired by these rich traditions, each one infused with energy and meaning — a perfect way to connect to the world and yourself, through your space.

The Science of Color
Color plays a huge role in how a space feels — and it’s a big part of my Aligned Design philosophy. The vibrant palettes of globally inspired and Bohemian styles naturally create a sense of harmony and energy.
Think of the calming blues and whites of Greek interiors, the rich patterns and warmth of Turkish and Bohemian textiles, or the joyful bursts of color in Indian and Mexican design. Each one tells a story — and when we use color with intention, it creates a space that feels alive and balanced.
That’s the same approach I take with my energy art. Every color is chosen with care to support alignment, well-being, and connection — so your space doesn’t just look beautiful, it feels like a reflection of your true self.

The Energy of Well Being
Every global style carries its own special energy. Greek interiors bring a sense of calm and serenity. Bohemian spaces celebrate creativity and freedom. Moroccan design adds a touch of the exotic, Turkish interiors wrap you in warmth, Indian decor radiates spirituality, and Mexican design bursts with life and joy.
Through Aligned Design, we tap into these beautiful energies and blend them with what you need to feel supported, balanced, and at home. My energy art brings it all together — combining the beauty and spirit of these styles with intentional energy that helps you align with your highest well-being.
Surround yourself with the energy that lifts you up — every single day.

Personal Reflection, Growth and Alignment
At its heart, Aligned Design is about creating spaces that reflect who you truly are and support you as you grow into who you’re meant to be.
Globally inspired styles, with their deep cultural roots, and the free-spirited nature of Bohemian design offer the perfect canvas. They give you room to create an environment that tells your story — a space that evolves with you, grows with you, and helps you stay connected to your personal journey.
Because when your space aligns with your soul, it becomes a powerful part of your transformation.
“Unveiling Time” energy art and Edesign by Mary Ann Benoit of Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
Sustainability and Connection to Nature
Many global styles naturally focus on sustainability, and Bohemian design brings in its own love of upcycling and creative reuse. It all fits beautifully with Aligned Design’s eco-friendly approach — creating spaces that are not only good for you but good for the planet too.
Natural materials like Turkish textiles, Greek stonework, Indian silks, Mexican crafts, and the earthy charm of vintage Bohemian pieces help keep your space connected to nature. These elements don’t just look beautiful — they create a more harmonious energy that supports you, instead of working against you.
Bringing nature into your space can be simple and powerful. My energy art captures the spirit of flora, fauna, and the wisdom of Animal Medicine, adding layers of meaning and energy. Pair it with plants and natural elements in your decor, and you create a space that feels fresh, grounded, and alive — a true sanctuary for your soul.
In connecting to nature, we find a deeper connection to ourselves — calm, grounded, and alive.

Global styles capture the essence of your adventures across the world, weaving together a tapestry of your experiences and stories. Characterized by vibrant hues, they radiate with the boldness of designs inspired by various cultures, suffused with rich textures and patterns. Every item isn’t just a decor piece; it’s a narrative, sparking curiosity and conversations.
Instead of adhering to a strict theme, treasures find their place without being confined by their origin. It’s a harmonious chaos where antiques cozy up to contemporary pieces, and nature plays its part—be it through the rugged beauty of animal horns, the serene presence of plants, or the raw allure of stones.
Although the heart of global design revels in its eclectic nature—melding elements from myriad cultures—certain colors and cultural symbols might resonate more deeply with you, reflecting your unique journeys and preferences. This design approach isn’t about uniformity; it’s about personal expression, celebrating diversity, memories, and the beautiful mosaic of worldwide cultures.
Examples of Global Style
Global design styles are a treasure trove of cultural richness and diversity. Here are some of my favorite styles and why I like them.
Bohemian: Rooted in a free-spirited and unconventional ethos, the Bohemian style celebrates individuality. It’s marked by an eclectic mix of vibrant colors, mismatched patterns, and a blend of old and new. Common elements include macrame hangings, colorful textiles, and layered rugs.
Turkish: Turkish design radiates with opulence and intricate detailing. Think of ornate lanterns, sumptuous kilim rugs, and Iznik tiles with their intricate blue and red motifs. Brass and copperware, often with intricate engravings, are also hallmarks.
Moroccan: This style evokes the allure of a desert oasis. Key elements include geometric mosaics, lanterns, carved wooden pieces, and rich textiles in deep reds, oranges, and blues. Arched doorways and lush courtyards complete the look.
Mexican: Bursting with vivid colors, Mexican interiors draw from its indigenous cultures and Spanish colonial influences. Hand-painted Talavera tiles, rustic wooden furniture, and vibrant textiles are central, along with folk art pieces and pottery.
Greek: Greek design channels the serene beauty of the Mediterranean. Bright white and deep blue are dominant colors, reminiscent of the iconic Santorini landscapes. Elements include airy linens, hand-painted ceramics, and rustic wooden details.
Indian: Indian interiors are a tapestry of rich hues, intricate patterns, and spiritual motifs. Brass lamps, colorful silk textiles, carved wooden furniture, and ornamental mirrors are typical. The vibrant colors—saffron, turquoise, and fuchsia—are inspired by Indian festivals and landscapes.
A common thread that binds these styles is the emphasis on craftsmanship and the use of natural materials, making them perfect for eco-friendly and sustainable designs. The use of wool, silk, wood, bone, and stone, among others, underscores a deep connection to the earth and traditional artisanal practices.
So, which ones resonates with your personal experiences, aesthetic preferences, and the ambiance you want to create?
Each style has its unique charm, narrative, and essence. Which one feels like home to you? Which one ignites your wanderlust or brings back cherished memories?
Let’s Create Your Global Style Design
Are you ready to transform your home into a sanctuary that not only looks amazing but also uplifts and supports you? Imagine that.
Think about living in a space that truly reflects who you are. How does it make you feel?
My approach to interior design, called Aligned Design, revolves around three key elements: art, science, and energy. It’s at the intersection of these three where the magic happens.
Creating a space that embraces your unique sense of beauty, color, and energy while attracting positivity in the form of prosperity, well-being, love, and self-expression aligns you with the universe. This alignment empowers you to lead your best life and make a positive impact on the world.
Global-style interior design, a part of this creative journey, is something you’ll truly enjoy as we embark on creating a space that’s perfectly tailored to you.
Art possesses a transformative power. Consider embracing symbols like the spiral, which energetically align with you. When curating art for your space, reflect on its significance. Why is it your choice? Beyond its hues, forms, and designs, does it resonate with a memory, emotion, journey, or a cherished individual? Dive deeper than aesthetics; connect with its essence and the personal narrative it brings into your space.
As an artist who creates the art for your space, the meaning behind what I create is important to me. I usually create abstract art that is not about a specific person, place or event but is more about the colors, shapes and feeling that it evokes. Some shapes are more meaningful than others and tend to draw you into creating more and more with the same shape. I find that much of my work revolves around spirals.
Spirals are prevalent in nature, in a beautiful sea shell, the unfolding of a new fern, the shape of a pine cones or the petals of a flower.

Spirals are meaningful cultural and religious symbols. They often symbolize connection to God and universal energy, and can represent harmony, beginnings, focus, a journey, direction, and progress. The spiral progression is symbolic of the route to a higher level of consciousness.
In some Native American cultures, the spiral is a sacred symbol of birth, rebirth and personal power, a metaphor for personal vision and enlightenment. They honor the grouse as a symbol of the sacred spiral, because the grouse does a spiral dance.
It can represent growth and evolution, eternity and continuity and is one of the most common symbols found among petroglyphs created by ancient or primitive peoples.
The whirling dervishes of some Sufi orders are masters of the spiral dance or whirling which they use to transcend to higher states of awareness and connect to God.
Spirals are important in great design, from the Mona Lisa to the Pyramids. The spiral is an example of the Golden Ratio which is a mathematical ratio. When used in a design, it fosters organic and natural-looking compositions that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The ratio is even used to create music masterpieces.

Even the Milky Way, the galaxy that includes Earth and our solar system – is an example of a spiral galaxy. We live in one big, beautiful spiral.

In summary, the spiral is a symbol that has been used in art across cultures and epochs. Its meaning can vary based on context, culture, and the artist’s intention.
Life Cycle & Growth: Spirals often represent life cycles, growth, and evolution. They can symbolize the journey of life from birth to death or the natural progression and transformation of life.
Connection to the Universe: In many ancient cultures, spirals symbolize the cosmos or a spiritual journey. They can represent the vastness of the universe or the interconnectedness of all life.
Eternal Life: Due to its never-ending pattern, the spiral can symbolize eternity and immortality.
Change & Development: Spirals can represent the idea of expansion, change, and development. It can be about personal growth or the evolution of a concept or idea.
Feminine Energy: In certain contexts, the spiral is symbolic of the womb and fertility, representing feminine energy and birth.
Natural Phenomena: The spiral is often seen in nature, such as in the patterns of shells, galaxies, or the way water whirls. As such, artists might use it to represent nature, mathematics, or the golden ratio.
Journey & Progression: Spirals can also symbolize a journey, be it a spiritual, personal, or physical one. It can denote progression, taking a path, and continuously moving forward.
Mysticism & Rituals: Spirals have been used in various rituals and religious symbols. They can indicate deeper knowledge, mysticism, or a connection to the divine.
In art, the meaning of the spiral can be personal to the artist and the energy they have infused into it, or the viewer.
When viewing spiral art, consider the context in which it was created to fully understand its intended significance.
Art with Power
“The Spiral” Energy Art
As an energy artist creating spirals, my intention is that the spiral is a symbol of personal transformation for you. Each piece inspires and uplifts you to be in alignment with who you truly are.
Everything is Energy. The spiral represents the energy of evolution, life, consciousness, and creation. Since ancient times it has been a symbol of growth and transformation. The spiral in your space is a reminder and invitation to shed your old skin and become something new.
This “Spiral”series is dedicated to Jim Fortin, who inspires us to transform and be our best selves. See my Saturday Night Live Art Show on this series.

“Infinity” Spiral Energy Art
My “Infinity” collection is a reminder that everything is energy including every object in your home, and the people, animals, plants, furniture, etc. Is the energy harmonious like an orchestra playing together or chaotic like an orchestra tuning up? A home that feels great has harmonious energy. Your art plays a big part in that. How is your energy evolving and what is it creating?

“Yin/Yang” Spiral Energy Art
This series inspires balance. Yin is female energy, and Yang is male energy. We all have, and need both, to get things done. Are you an over-doer of all the things? Try focusing less on masculine doing and more on feminine receiving. Yin receives ideas and inspiration. Yang puts the ideas into action. Yin receives the rewards of your actions. Yang takes the action and celebrates. Balance is the key to happiness. As above, so below. As within, so without. See my Yin/Yang collection here. “Phoenix Rising” Spiral Energy Art
Step into the fire, burn away all your hurts and fears that define who you and rise from the ashes of all that does not serve you. This is part of my Fire Element collection. In Chinese healing arts, the fire element represents transformation, divinity, power, and passion. It can also represent destruction. The fire phase is a state of peak power and manifesting. Here you are in the maximum state of doing and activity. See my “Phoenix Rising” collection of spiral art here. See my Saturday Night Live Art Show on this collection.

Improving Your Health and Well-Being with Energy Art and Interior Design
What one thing do you wish you had more of in life? Most people will probably pick one of the following; wealth, health. love or spirituality. What is it for you?
Is Health the Top Thing You Want More of in Life?
There are five main aspects of personal health: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and proper sleep can enhance physical health, while mindfulness, self-care practices, therapy, and social connections can support mental well-being.
Interior design with energy art as a foundation can support personal alignment with who you truly are and inspire, support and attract these things into your life.
My energy art is a unique blend of fractal and AI-enhanced designs, and serves as the bedrock of my Aligned Design (interior design) approach. It not only makes your space more beautiful and serves as a foundation for your design and color scheme — it channels and magnifies personal alignment, guiding you to your authentic self. By embedding this art in your surroundings, you naturally enhance attracting health, as well as wealth, love, and spiritual enrichment.
Some Causes of Health Issues
Are You “At Ease” with Yourself?
Often health issues arise when we are not at ease with who we are, or the results that mirror this in our lives, and “disease” follows. This can come from:
Chronic Stress: Long-term stress can lead to serious illnesses.
Negative Emotions: Holding onto negative feelings can weaken the immune system.
Lack of Self-Care: Not taking care of yourself properly can cause health problems.
Unhealthy Relationships: Bad relationships or feeling alone can lead to mental health issues.
Unfulfilled Life: Living an unauthentic life can cause chronic stress and health problems.
Resources for Positive Change
Change involves reflection, effort, and honesty. Three resources I have used in my own life effectively are:
Energy Art: This can remind you daily of your growth journey. Support yourself with Transformation or Becoming energy art in your space.
Coaching Programs: Programs like TCP with Jim Fortin help with personal development.
Podcasts: Jim Fortin’s free podcast offers helpful advice for personal transformation.

Are You in Alignment?
Being in alignment means doing what you are truly passionate about, irrespective of monetary gain. It’s about expressing your unique vision to the world and positively impacting others’ lives, creating expansion for others and yourself.
When we are not aligned with our work and engage in tasks we dislike or solely for the money, it can have a negative impact on our mental and physical health. Such a mismatch between our true desires and the work we do can lead to stress, dissatisfaction, and overall reduced well-being.
We can get in alignment when we live on a path with heart, doing the things that bring fulfillment and joy, and this positively influences our mental and physical health.

Unlocking Self-Love: Beyond the Need for Overdoing
Many people take on more tasks and responsibilities, or “overdo”, in the hope of earning love or approval from others. However, this can often lead to stress and exhaustion, and it’s not a sustainable or healthy way to gain self-worth.
True self-worth comes from within, not from the validation of others. It’s important to learn to love and approve of ourselves, embracing our strengths and accepting our weaknesses. When we find love and approval within ourselves, we no longer feel the need to overdo things for others’ acceptance. We can then focus on fulfilling our own needs and desires, leading to a more balanced and content life.
When we define our worth based on others’ perceptions, we give away our power. Taking our power back involves:
Releasing Attachments: Let go of the need for validation from others. Your value is inherent and doesn’t rely on external approval.
Let Go of things that don’t serve you: Recognize habits that don’t serve you, like overworking. Replace these behaviors with things that do serve you instead.
Practicing Self-Care: Prioritize activities that nourish your mind and body. This can range from getting enough sleep, giving yourself quiet time or flowers, getting regular massages or walks or making time for hobbies you love.
Remember, your value comes from within, and the love and approval you seek should first and foremost come from yourself.
Support yourself by releasing unhealthy attachments and practices, and focusing on self-care, you start to regain control over your life and well-being.
How Energy Art Can Improve Your Health
Energy art, deeply rooted in the principles of harmony, frequency, and resonance, can be an influential tool for bolstering your health. How?
Balancing Energies: Everything in our universe vibrates at specific frequencies, including our bodies. Energy art can help harmonize these vibrations, creating a balanced environment that fosters well-being. Try my Yin/Yang and Qi energy art for balance.
Stress Reduction: The beauty of energy art can induce a sense of calm and tranquility, significantly reducing stress. As stress is a common precursor to many health issues, mitigating it can have profound health benefits. Energy art in blues and greens are calming. Try my Release, Attachments of the Heart, and Let it Go energy art.
“Let it Go” energy art and Edesign by Mary Ann Benoit.
Stimulating Positive Thoughts: Certain patterns and colors in energy art can evoke positive emotions, thoughts, and memories. Encouraging Meditation and Mindfulness: Energy art can serve as a focal point for meditation, helping one concentrate and delve deeper into a meditative state. Regular meditation is linked to lowered blood pressure, reduced anxiety, and improved mental clarity.
Boosting Immune Function: Positive emotions and reduced stress, both of which can be facilitated by energy art, are known to have a strengthening effect on the immune system. This means better resistance to diseases and quicker recovery. Try art in my Metal Element and Crystal collections.
Enhancing Sleep Quality: A serene environment imbued with the calming influences of energy art can improve sleep patterns. Good sleep is a cornerstone of good health, aiding in healing, cognitive function, and emotional balance.
Improving Air Quality: If energy art incorporates natural elements or materials, it can also play a role in purifying the air, which is beneficial for respiratory health.
In essence, energy art is not just a feast for the eyes, but a nurturing force for the body and soul. When thoughtfully integrated into one’s living or working space, it can act as a consistent source of rejuvenation and holistic health.

Saturday Night Live Art Shows- Globally Inspired, Soulfully Aligned- Moroccan Style
Moroccan style reflects the diverse culture of Arabs, Berbers, Europeans and African immigrants.
Warm and welcoming, it exudes a natural, historical, and spiritual depth. Both comforting and exotic, it appeals to all senses.
My designs are collages of AI and layers of fractal energy art, reflecting Moroccan style and supportive energy messages.
See my art on the walls of my Edesign.
What is Moroccan Style?
Moroccan style design is a melting pot of Andalusian, Berber, Persian, and many other cultural influences, resulting in a rich and distinct aesthetic. It’s renowned for its vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and luxurious textures.
Moroccan interior design is characterized by its warm, inviting, and multi-sensory experience, layered with historical and spiritual depth. It’s a style that doesn’t just look good – it feels good, enveloping inhabitants in an ambiance that’s both exotic and comforting.
Everything is energy. The energy of your space affects how you feel and can support you in reaching your potential. Energy art can serve as the basis for the design of the room, and how it feels. My “Heart of Morocco” energy art serves as the foundation for the style, colors and energy of this Edesign of a living room.

Energy art serves as a bridge between the tangible realm of design and the intangible energies that influence our emotions, behaviors, and inner truths. Here’s how energy art can assist in aligning you with your true self:
Resonance and Reflection: Energy art often resonates with viewers on a deep, personal level. Such art can reflect aspects of your subconscious or emotions, acting as a mirror to your inner world, helping you gain insights into your authentic self.
Shift in Energy: Energy Art, when infused with the energy of the artist, can shift the energy of a space. Being surrounded by energy-aligned art can aid in changing or enhancing your own vibrational frequency, thereby drawing you closer to alignment with your true self.
Catalyst for Meditation and Introspection: Energy art can be a focal point for meditation, offering an anchor for your thoughts. This can lead to profound self-awareness and understanding.
Stimulation of Positive Emotions: Energy artis intended to evoke specific feelings or states of being. Such positive stimulation can help clear mental and emotional blocks, guiding you to resonate more with your true feelings and desires.
Connection to Higher Realms: For those inclined spiritually, energy art can serve as a portal or connection to higher realms, spirit guides, or universal energies. This can be instrumental in understanding your life’s purpose or soul’s journey.
Enhancement of Healing: Energy art can catalyze healing—be it emotional, mental, or spiritual. This healing can strip away layers of trauma, pain, or societal conditioning, revealing the genuine self beneath.
Aid in Visualization: Such art can assist in visualizing goals, desires, or aspects of yourself you may wish to understand or manifest better.
Affirmations and Intentions: Many pieces of energy art come with specific intentions or affirmations. Regularly viewing and connecting with these affirmations can embed these positive messages deeper into one’s psyche, facilitating alignment with core values and beliefs.
In essence, energy art is a powerful tool that merges aesthetics, intention, and vibrational frequencies. When engaged with purposefully, it becomes more than just a visual treat—it transforms into a dynamic guide, leading you closer to understanding and embodying your authentic self.

How Can Energy Art Help Attract More Wealth, Health and Abundance?
Energy art, with its intentional fusion of aesthetics and vibrational resonance, serves as a conduit for positive energies and manifestations. Here’s how energy art might assist in drawing wealth, health, and love into one’s life:
Frequency Alignment for Wealth: The law of attraction says that like attracts like. By surrounding oneself with energy art that resonates with the frequency of abundance and prosperity, one might raise their personal vibration to match that of wealth, thus attracting financial opportunities and prosperity.
Promoting Health: Energy art, especially pieces designed to emanate calm, balance, and rejuvenation, can foster an environment of relaxation and positivity. This can reduce stress, a major culprit behind many health issues, and promote healing and well-being. Additionally, art pieces that resonate with vitality and vigor can serve as a daily reminder and motivator to pursue healthy habits.
Attracting Love: Energy art focused on love, compassion, and partnership can serve to open one’s heart and make them more receptive to giving and receiving love. The art can not only attract romantic love but can also strengthen familial bonds, friendships, and self-love. It acts as a visual representation of the love one wishes to manifest, making the intention clear and tangible.
4. Harmonizing Space: The placement of energy art can harmonize the flow of chi or energy in a space, based on principles similar to Feng Shui. A harmonized space is believed to remove blocks and make the flow of positive energies like wealth, health, and love smoother and more natural.
5. Stimulating Positive Thoughts and Actions: Being surrounded by energy art that embodies what you desire (be it wealth, health, or love) can serve as a daily affirmation. This can lead to more positive thoughts, which in turn can manifest in positive actions, decisions, and outcomes.
6. Cultivating Gratitude: Gratitude is a powerful magnet for abundance in all its forms. Energy art can serve as a reminder of the universe’s bounties and encourage a daily practice of gratitude, which in turn can attract even more to be grateful for.

7. Enhancing Connectivity: Energy art can promote a sense of connection—to oneself, to others, and to the universe. This connectivity can foster deeper relationships, better understanding of oneself (leading to better health choices), and a sense of abundance.
In essence, energy art becomes a tangible reflection of one’s intentions. By consciously interacting with and acknowledging these intentions through art, one is taking an active step toward manifesting the desires of wealth, health, and love in their life.

Saturday Night Live Art Shows- “It’s Just the Moon”- Adventures in AI.
Welcome to Saturday Night Live Art Shows. I’m Mary Ann Benoit, an energy artist and Interior Designer from Seward, Alaska.
Creativity and design happen in many ways. Explore what is possible.
AI or artificial intelligence is a great tool to bring your vision to life. Despite the name, it is not that smart. You need to have a creative vision, tell it what to do, and refine it until it is what you imagine.
I created these art designs in AI, mixed them with my fractal art, and created these Interior Designs. I love the results and energy they convey.
This collection is “It’s Just the Moon”. The moon affects the oceans, how does it affect you? When the energy around you seems crazy, don’t worry, it’s just the moon.
Raise the vibe in your space today. Great design starts with energy.
My art is a mixture of fractal art and AI, with numerous fractal art hearts, symbolizing living a path with heart.

What is AI and Fractal Art?
I created this digital art using a combination of AI (artificial intelligence) and Fractal on my computer. AI required using the right words to tell the computer what your artistic vision is, and then revising it over and over until it is close to my vision. Then I create fractal art using special software based on math. I overlay the fractal art images on the AI images. Each image has a special energy message meant to support you in your life. I infuse my energy to support you through the art during the creation process.
I love creating these mediums because it allows me to work with brilliant colors, interesting textures, and incredible detail.
Unfolding Magic: The Bird’s Eye Brilliance of Flat Lays
A flat lay is a bird’s eye view of a lot of magic possibilities about to unfold before you.
At its simplest, it is a picture of objects arranged on a flat surface being viewed from above. But it is so much more!
When used in Interior Design, a flat lay creates endless possibilities for creating a perfect space.
A flat lay is an idea filled with possibilities.
As an example, here is a flat lay I created that was inspired by the beauty of Pintail duck and eagle feathers. Being a wildlife biologist in a past career, I think birds provide endless inspiration for creating beautiful designs!
I started with art of feather details. Then I selected samples of flooring, tile, carpeting, fabrics and more that I thought looked nice with the art and arranged them.
What room will this become? Who knows, the possibilities are endless.
Will the room have all these exact tiles, fabrics, woods, etc.? Probably not. It is just an idea to build on.
Other Bird Feather Inspired Flat Lays
I created two additional flat lays that were also inspired by bird feathers. The first seems like a cross between Hollywood Glam and Bohemian waiting to happen.
The second seems like more of a Modern Global/Bohemian Style.
What rooms do you envision these flat lays inspiring?
See my next article, Birds of a Feather- What Birds Can Teach Us About Designing the Perfect Room and see the designs that came from these flat lays.
