Wearable Art to Attract What You Want- “Transforming” in Blue
Attract What You Want With Wearable Art
Everything is energy. “Transforming” attract personal and spiritual development to you.
The energy around you, in your space, and even on you in the clothing you wear effects you and those around you.
Have you ever admired a piece of art and wished you could wear it as an elegant scarf, shawl, or top? I share that sentiment, and it inspired my passion for wearable art. Because we are an exquisite works of art. Why not let our wardrobe celebrate that!
Imagine the power of “transforming” yourself. These pieces are created from ethereal abstract symbolizing personal and spiritual transformation. The metal filagree symbolizes the intricate journey of personal and spiritual growth. The pearl drops highlight moments of clarity and enlightenment. The soft, flowing lines invite reflection on the beauty of change and the new beginnings, renewal and the graceful evolution of the human spirit. Transformation brings peace and well-being.

What is Energy Art?
I infuse my emotions, intentions, and energy into the artwork I create, to convey specific qualities or benefits—such as prosperity—to you. As you engage with the art, you absorb the intended emotions and intentions, and align them with your own energy. This dynamic interaction generates a powerful force that resonates with your intentions, essentially harnessing the energy in the artwork and combining it with your own to attract and manifest what you want.
How? Emotions, which are energy in motion, serve as a catalyst for this connection.
Energy art is the foundation of Interior Design that not only is beautiful but is transformative and enriches your life by expressing your true essence and supporting your potential.
Birds provide endless inspiration for creating beautiful designs with the intricate patterns, colors, and textures of their feathers!
Flat Lay #1- The Forest
In my article Birds of a Feather- What Birds Can Teach Us About Designing the Perfect Room, I shared a design for the first flat lay, inspired by realistic photo art of Pintail duck and eagle feathers. I designed a room with a calm and earthy feeling that reminds me of being in the forest using the feather art and colors of nature.
Flat lay and Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design

Flat Lay #2- Bohemian Meets Hollywood Glam
The second flat lay, evoked a much more glamorous style and feeling, like a cross between Modern Global Style and Hollywood Glam. I developed several ideas capturing the drama and glamour with different color walls.
Flat lay and Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design. Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design. Edesign by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design.
Flat Lay #3- A Time for Whimsy- Let’s Fly
The third flat lay to me evoked a sense of whimsy and playfulness, filled with color and the sense that you can take flight and soar to any place you want to go.
As in Flat Lay #2, the feathers are stylized rather than realistic, and more colorful and playful than the gold and black feathers. Even though it has a sense of fun and whimsy, it also feels calm and relaxing with the blues and greens.
I designed two living rooms. One uses wallpaper and is more light and airy yet has texture. The deep blue wall adds more drama with the darker, rich blue.
Which is your favorite?
Bird Feathers Are a Great Source of Inspiration!
As you can see, you can use natural elements like bird feathers to inspire earthy, glamorous, and dramatic, or whimsical and playful designs!
Bird feathers can inspire many design styles and are fun to work with. There is a huge amount of variety.
Did you know you can often identify a bird just by the feathers? That is how unique they are. Mother Nature provides endless inspiration. Try your own flat lay and see what it inspires.

Saturday Night Live Art Shows-Aligned Energy Art- “Attachments”
https://youtu.be/XWjoUW9XyWA
Welcome to Saturday Night Live Art Shows ! I am Mary Ann Benoit and am with you tonight from Seward Alaska! So excited to be with you tonight to share some of my new Aligned Energy Art,, called “Attachments”, and three fractal art pieces I would like to share.

Introducing “Attachments” Aligned Energy Art
Budda said “the root of suffering is attachment”.
I learned from my teacher Jim Fortin, that the biggest cause of suffering in our lives comes from our attachments, or expectations of the way we think things should be. When we don’t get what we want or how we want it, we are unhappy. Maybe we can release attachment to the idea of how things should be and just allow them to be what they are.
If they are not how we want or expect, maybe that is a good thing that is opening the door for something more wonderful to come into our lives.
This art was inspired by the energy of attachment in our lives and all the chords that bind us to the outcomes we expect and want.
As you can see, there are chords of attachment between every part of the design, creating one interconnected whole.
“Attachments” fractal art by Mary Ann Benoit of Northern Lights Home Staging and Design
Although the greens and blues are colors of nature and often are calming and relaxing colors, these pieces have a sense of high energy because of all the endless linkages.
As I usually do, I created 2 more pieces to go with it, so you can see the movement between pieces and use three together over a sofa t create a focal point in a room.

How can you use Aligned Energy Art in your space?
If the message of “Attachments”, or future concepts I plan to create resonate with you, then adding art that is meaningful as well as beautiful is a great way to create your perfect space and remind yourself of what is important in your life each day when you see it.
Art like “Attachments” can be added to your living room, meditation, or workout area or wherever your intuition guides you to put it.
Because this art is digital, it can also be put on a variety of home decor products such as pillows, bedding, serving trays, coffee mugs, notebooks, and more. So you could think about “Attachments” as you sip your morning coffee out of a “Attachments” coffee mug while writing things you want to release your “Attachments” journal, for example, drinking out of your travel cup on the way to work or doing yoga on a “Attachments” mat.
Aligned Energy Art is another layer of meaning beyond the visual beauty in creating your perfect space that is aligned with who you want to be.
An Example
I created this Edesign, or virtual design as an example of how you could create a space using this art and express the energy of “Attachments” in your space. Note the “Attachments” fractal art on the framed canvases on the wall, the serving tray on the coffee table, the pillow on one of the chairs, and the place settings on the table.
Your selection of art determines the energy you want to surround yourself with.

How can you use Aligned Energy Art in your space?
I created this Edesign, or virtual design as an example of how you could use this art to remind yourself to maintain gratitude in life and so to attract abundance.
How “Gratitude” Art Can Change Your Life
Integrating art that carries a meaningful message like “Gratitude” can deeply enrich your space. Here’s why:
Personal Connection: Art that resonates with your values makes your home feel more personal and can remind you daily of what’s important.
Flexible Placement: Listen to your intuition when deciding where to place your artwork. It could be in your living room, meditation space, or workout area – wherever you spend time and need inspiration.
Versatile Usage: Because this is digital art, it can be used in a variety of ways beyond traditional wall decor. Imagine starting your day with a reminder of gratitude on your coffee mug, or doing yoga next to a throw pillow with your favorite art piece.
Inspires Transformation: Seeing a message of gratitude every day can inspire personal growth. You can reflect on this as you enjoy your morning coffee, write in your journal, or practice yoga.
So, embrace art that speaks to you. It’s a beautiful way to make your home more meaningful and inspire daily reflection on the things that matter most to you.
Aligned Energy Art is another layer of meaning beyond the visual beauty in creating your perfect space that is aligned with who you want to be.
What is Fractal Art?
Fractal art is a type of digital art created with mathematical algorithms. I use specialized software to generate intricate patterns with vibrant colors and detail. By zooming and panning, I can explore infinite variations within the fractal. Once satisfied, I render the final image.
Fractal art combines science and art to produce mesmerizing and visually stunning designs.

Welcome to Saturday Night Live Art Shows! Tonight I share 4 fractal art pieces called “Flow” and an Edesign of a living room showing how you could use them in your space. Saturday Night Live Art Shows-Aligned Energy Art- “Eternity”
Welcome to Saturday Night Live Art Shows. I am really happy to share my Aligned Energy Art series called “Eternity”, with four fractal art /sacred geometry pieces in an Edesign I created to highlight them.
This is a special collaboration with my followers. I am doing a creative challenge to create a new piece of art every day for 100 days. I created the first piece and did not know what to name it. I asked my followers how it made them feel. Their comments were amazing! I created a story that included every comment, and this video is the result. Based on the comments, I call this series “Eternity”. Watch the video to find out why”.

The Story of “Eternity”
Once Upon a Time there was a girl (me).
She challenged herself to create new art every day for 100 days.
One day around week 4, she created something and didn’t know what to name it.
So she asked her followers…..how does it make you feel?
“Eternity #2” Fractal Art by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design
She was amazed at all their answers. A story started to unfold.
“He found the fossils in a secluded area. He had an overwhelming sense that ancient wisdom was written in the stone and within it was the heart of some long-lost ancient treasure. As his mind wandered, the story started to unfold, as if in a download from the universe. There was once a place, an interwoven world, filled with heroic beings with many superpowers. Each was earned as they moved through never ending layers within the spacious and regal palace of woven metal. But it was easy to get lost and feel trapped. Many areas were filled with ice and other crystals growing and expanding toward the light. The only way out was to pass a test of enlightenment, to move on to the next layer. While trapped, it was like being in a cave filled with ice crystals, but when enlightenment was found, they could be transported to a new area, sometimes filled with the golden sun of summer, or sometimes even to another country or time. Each place had its own special wisdom to be imparted.
Eternity
There was a special dance that provided a secret key out, if only they knew what the moves were. And there was a sacred object they would have to carry in their hand…
They soon learned that the secret key out, was learning how to use the message of enlightenment in their own life, as everyone is different. Each had their own special move and sacred object needed to move on.
“Eternity #3” Fractal Art by Northern Lights Home Staging and Design
With each new lesson learned, they moved closer to knowing themselves better and becoming who they truly were. If the lesson was not be learned, they might spend eternity in the same area.

That’s a very long time! Are you learning your lessons?

Do you love bringing the outdoors in? I do too. A beautiful example is this Edesign I created for the Seasonal Living Design Challenge.
Participants were to design a space in a Modern to Modern Farmhouse higher-end residential home, containing at least 3 Seasonal Living products, and 2 seasons should be reflected in the use of each space. Spaces should emphasize the concept of “Wellness”.

Seasonal Living
Designing a space that enhances the use of outdoor space as well as indoor space and is usable for more than just one season of the year is wonderful for making the most of your space and your well-being.
I believe my design is perfect for spring, summer, fall, and winter with its indoor and outdoor fire features and roof that covers the outdoor space.
Wellness
I believe the concept of wellness is critical in creating the perfect space for you. Wellness is about having a healthy environment that inspires peace and well-being. Bring wellness into your space in the following ways.
Color– Use the energy of color to bring peace, calm, well-being, or inspiration to your space.
Biophilia- Bring the outside in by creating a seamless interplay between the outside view and the interior. Use natural materials and elements in your space.
Art- Select art that has a meaningful message that inspires you whenever you see it.
Natural Materials- Use natural materials such as wood, metal, glass, wool, clay, stone, cotton, etc. for a healthy environment.
Light, Fire, and Sound- Let your space and yourself breathe in an area with plenty of light, fresh air, quiet, and the comfort of a fire in the fireplace.
Uncluttered space– Give yourself room to breathe, move freely and relax. Too much clutter feels chaotic and does not allow your eyes to rest.
Color
This design uses a primarily neutral color scheme interspersed with greens, blues, and yellows to harmonize with the outdoor landscape. The colors are peaceful, relaxing and give the feeling of relaxing in the forest. The walls are a very light green and the ceiling a light blue, to blend with the forest and sky increase the flow between outdoors and in.
Increase your wellness and well-being with relaxing natural colors, lots of light and fresh air, views of nature, using natural materials and incorporating and uncluttered space.
Biophilia
As humans, we want to be connected with nature and other living things such as people, animals, and plants. This longing for “connection” with other life forms is called “biophilia”. See my article on biophilia for more details.
Some of the ways of doing that, which I incorporated in this design include:
Use natural and eco-friendly materials for building and decor. In this design, I used lots of glass, wood, wool, wicker, stone. Seasonal Living also uses natural and recycled material whenever possible.
Use indoor plants to provide a variety of colors, textures and improve your indoor air quality.
Use the colors of nature in your home, inside and out. The furnishings are primarily neutral colors, allowing the art, plants and accessories to add colors and textures to harmonize with the outdoor environment. The walls are green and ceiling blue to allow the eyes to rest and help the inside flow into the outside.
Use lots of strategically placed windows for an abundance of natural light and views.
Select art that enhances the energy you want to surround yourself with, inspires you and helps remind you who you want to be.
Increase your wellness and well-being with relaxing natural colors, lots of light and fresh air, views of nature, using natural materials and incorporating and uncluttered space.Increase your wellness with flexible indoor/outdoor living that provides lots of light and fresh air.
Art
Art can have a big impact on the energy of the space and how your feel in it.
Consider art that shows landscapes, plants, animals, or other natural elements that bring you joy and work with your design and color palette.
Consider art that tells the story of something important to your well-being. In this design, I used 2 of my recent fractal energy art series. The first, in shades of greens, is called “Release”. It not only portrays the release of the season of fall into winter but the release of all the things that no longer serve you or your well-being. Note the design in the wall art, pillows and tray on the coffee table.
“Release” Fractal Art
See my Saturday Night Live Art Show on my “Release” art to learn how it was made and more about the energy behind the design. “Release” is all about releasing all the things in life that do not serve you or contribute to your well-being.
The greens and fall colors add a feeling of calmness and well-being as if sitting in a beautiful forest. This is the feeling I want to have as a result of releasing what no longer serves me. It works together perfectly with the exterior landscape and the Seasonal Living furniture.

Light, Fire and Sound
Lots of sunlight, a warm, beautiful fire in the fireplace or outdoor fire pits, candlelight and the sounds of nature are the extra touches that make magic happen and increase your wellness in un-measurable ways!
Nothing beats the magic of a toasty fire to increase your well-being.
A beautiful place to relax and think about the new year ahead.Dinner by candlelight with a view of the outdoor fire features.
The Experience
I enjoyed developing a design using Seasonal Living products and exploring the flexible concept of indoor/outdoor living. I love that their products are sustainable and created or inspired by artisans. I liked being about to meld it with my own fractal art and loved the experience of creating a design that flowed seamlessly between inside and outside and could be used in all seasons of the year.

The Beauty of Seeing the World in Shades of Yellow
Do you love yellow, and the look of Global Style Design? Fill your home with your favorite color, and the rich colors, exotic designs, and hand-made works of art that bring the beauty of different cultures to life in your space. Varying shades of yellow and gold are used in Bohemian style and Modern Global styles.
Yellow is used in various shades and saturation levels in many different cultures. Warm shades of yellow are much loved in Indian-style designs. Yellows, particularly golden yellows are often found in Turkish rugs. Golden yellows are popular wall colors in Morocco. Bright lemon yellows to earthy golds are popular in Mexican-style design.
Throughout time, in many parts of the world, the color yellow has been regarded as the color of wisdom. It is optimistic and may help with concentration. It is energetic, bright, cheerful, playful, and carefree.
Yellow can create a sense of warmth and coziness, but be careful not to use too much. Some research has shown that too much of a good thing can make people lose their tempers more often and can make babies cry. Although I can see how a lot of crying babies could make people lose their temper more often too!
Use your judgment and consider how yellow makes you feel. Try soft yellow wall colors and save brighter yellows for accents, or use brighter yellows in smaller rooms to test it out.

The Beauty of Seeing the World in Shades of Orange
Do you love orange, and the look of Global Style Design? Fill your home with your favorite color, and the rich colors, exotic designs, and hand-made works of art that bring the beauty of different cultures to life in your space.
Orange is used in various shades and saturation levels in many different cultures, and shades of orange are a natural color of the desert and of rocks in many areas so shades of orange can be quite common, such as when you see terracotta.
On the color wheel, orange is between red and yellow and can take on aspects of its neighbors. Like red, orange can feel vibrant and get your attention. Like its other neighbor, yellow, it can feel light, creative, and fun.
Orange is a vibrant, happy, expansive, optimistic, and creative color that inspires socializing. It is fun and warm (from the Land of Color). It is exciting and draws attention (which is why it is used for signs).
Regarding global style, brighter orange shades are common in Bohemian, Indian, Mexican, and Moroccan styles on walls, fabric, and decor items. More muted terra cotta colors are also used in Turkish, Mexican, and Moroccan styles on the walls, floors, rugs, and pillows. Greek-style does not use orange very often, but you could add beautiful orange accents, considering it is a compliment of blue which is very common in Greek design.

Mexican interiors are full of color, are welcoming, warm and there is often a sense of playfulness and whimsy. Colors are bright. Red is common and yellow is also used heavily in shades ranging from bright lemon yellow to deep earthy golds. Terracotta is common. Blues are commonly used in art and accessories.
In this Mexican-style living room, I used a deep burnt orange paint color to highlight my fractal art from my Great Conjunction collection.
