Wearable Art- Celebrate the Masterpiece you Are!
When you see art that you love for your house, do you ever wish you could find that same design in a beautiful scarf, shawl, jewelry or a top? Or maybe a tie for your favorite guy? I know I do! Wearable art! Why not, you are a work of art yourself. Celebrate that!
I have several artist studios offering my energy art on a variety of different products. Two of these, allow me to create beautiful wearable art, Vida and Le Galeriste. Both offer small selections of beautiful home decor as well.
What is so Great About Wearable Art?
Wearable art with an energy message offers a unique and powerful combination of aesthetic and spiritual elements, making it special for several reasons:
Personal Expression: Wearable art allows individuals to express their unique style and personality, often in a more creative and personalized way than mass-produced fashion.
Energy and Intention: When artists infuse their creations with energy messages, symbols, or intentions, the wearer can benefit from the positive vibes and meaning associated with the art.
Spiritual Connection: Wearable art often draws from spiritual or symbolic sources, fostering a sense of connection to deeper meanings or belief systems.
Conversation Starter: These pieces can be excellent conversation starters, allowing wearers to share the significance and stories behind their art.
Empowerment: Some wearable art is designed to empower the wearer, reminding them of their inner strength, purpose, or intentions.
One-of-a-Kind: Many wearable art pieces are unique or limited edition, giving the wearer a sense of exclusivity and individuality.
Supporting Artists: Purchasing wearable art supports independent artists and creators, fostering a more sustainable and ethical approach to fashion.
Positive Impact: The energy messages in wearable art can have a positive impact on the wearer’s mindset and well-being, serving as daily reminders of positivity and intention.
Versatility: Wearable art can be incorporated into various outfits and occasions, making it versatile and suitable for daily wear or special events.
Artistic Appreciation: It allows people to appreciate art not just as something to hang on walls but as something to carry with them, blurring the line between art and life.
In summary, wearable art with an energy message combines artistic expression with personal meaning, allowing individuals to wear their beliefs, intentions, and positive energies as a form of self-expression and empowerment.”
Wearable Art on Vida
Wouldn’t it be great if the products were eco-friendly and also supported social programs for those that made the beautiful art for you to wear?
VIDA takes wearable art to a whole new level. See my art on beautiful wool, cashmere and silk scarves, tops and jewelry! They also have beautiful handbags, purses, leather wallets and more. And I love their glass platters and wood wall art for home decor!
I love their commitment to creating eco-friendly products, sustainability and ethical manufacturing. Most of VIDA’s products are made from natural materials or post-consumer recycled materials and biodegradable fabrics. Purchases provides social programs to their makers, those who bring the art to life, tailored to the needs of their unique communities, from teaching basic literacy in Pakistan to women’s empowerment in Turkey.
Here is an example of some of my favorite products using my Kaleidoscope design.
Click on the pictures to see some of the products shown above.
Vida offers scarves, bags, apparel and home decor. My favorites are the Modal scarves, the Statement Bags, the Essential Tops and the Glass platters.
Scarves
I love the modal scarves! They are 28 x 78″ and made of 100% Lenzing Modal which is a luxuriously soft botanic silk fabric made of beechwood. It is eco-friendly and its fineness is comparable to that of natural silk.
They also have beautiful wool, silk and cotton scarves. also eco-friendly and some of the proceeds go to social and financial literacy programs in India and Turkey. The cashmere scarves are spun from fine Kashmir goat hair (more than twice as warm as standard sheep’s wool). Some are also made with 20% silk. The wool ponchos are made from 100% twill wool. Or try some of the pure silk or cotton scarves.
Bags
They have beautiful Statement Bags made of 100% cotton with leather trim as well as leather purses and wallets and really interesting studio bags.
I love that they have women’s clothing that is beautiful and eco-friendly, beyond just T-shirts.
Home Decor
I love their gorgeous glass platters (oblong, round and square).
Jewelry
As a jewelry artist as well as a designer, I had always wondered how my fractal art would look on jewelry but was never sure how to create it. I was thrilled to see they could create jewelry and really love the round pendants and rings in particular. The necklaces come in other shapes as well and on metal or bamboo.
