During these uncertain times, it is likely we are going to all be spending more time at home. Whether that is working from home or spending leisure time there rather than going out, it may be the best way to stay safe and healthy for now.
If you have not spent much time at home before, you may be looking around and thinking, wow, I wish my home looked or functioned better! I wish it was more comfortable, cozy, more of a sanctuary or an easy place to work from.
As more and more people stay home, these are good things to think about. If your have to spend more time there, why not make your home more functional and beautiful at the same time?
Thanks for stopping by to read my post and I totally agree. Let’s make some lemonade from all those lemons coming our way.
Such an excellent way to view this unexpected bonus time at home! Attitude is everything, isn’t it? There is a lot we CAN’T do during this crisis, but there is always also something we CAN do and these are all excellent suggestions!
Thank Janet! Yes, I think we can find a bright side to all that is happening and make the most of it. It will be helpful to our sanity and our health to stay positive. Thanks for reading!
This is a positive way to look at this situation. It’s time to make your home truly supportive.
Thanks, I am trying to stay positive and working on my own house projects as we speak. Feels good to get things done I have been putting off way too long and it looks so good! Thanks for reading.
Love your positive perspective. I might want to add some vodka to those lemons, though.
Haha! Perfect idea!!! Can I join you?
Great tips and information… and timely too! Keep safe and healthy everyone….”this too shall pass.”
Thanks Carla:) I am finding people to be very helpful and supportive of each other, even if we can’t hug right now.
I love these outdoor spaces! I can’t wait til it’s warm enough to spend quality time in nature. When does it get warm in Alaska? These are fantastic tips.
Thanks Julie!Today it is about 48 which is super nice. It is all relative. I see some crazy Alaskans wearing shorts in the winter. Usually early May is when it really starts feeling like spring.
