Over the last year, you may have spent more time at home than you wanted to. You may have thought, OMG, this is not working for me! I don’t like the way my house looks or feels.
I don’t have enough room. I have too much stuff. The colors suck. I don’t have a space to work, work out, or for peace and quiet.
You are working on creating your dream life…. improving your career, health, and relationships. Some of those things may have been on hold for a while.
“When your space is better, you are better. When you are better the world is better” SO, so true! Our environment has a great impact on how we contribute to the world and the world NEEDS the unique contribution each of us have to make!
I think this is the truest thing…..most of us do not have the feelings of self worth to realize how important we are and what a difference we can make.
I totally agree, Mary Ann! I do believe in a happy and healthy space (mentally). There is so much to be said about the state of mind. Great advice!
Thank you. Really, to be happy all comes down to our state of mind, the only thing we really can control. Our spaces contribute to that, and we can control that too:)
This idea of aligned design is so interesting! I love how you combine multiple elements to create the perfect space. Great post!
Thank you so much! It is a concept I always think of when designing spaces but it was important to put it into words so others can understand what is important and why to help them create their perfect space.
Our home spaces are so important to us whether we realize it or not. This was a great post Mary Ann, I’m sure you have inspired your readers with your great ideas!
Thanks so much Amy!
