What It Means to Be a Luminous Warrior
A luminous warrior doesn’t fight the world—they glow from within. It’s about being fluid like water, moving with grace through change instead of pushing against it. These pieces are filled with movement and color to help you feel more alive, more at peace, and more like you again. I love the way they look like northern lights!

Renting with Style Decor and Organization: Tips That Won’t Cost Your Deposit
Living in a rental property often means working within certain limitations, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice personal style or comfort. With a bit of creativity and strategic planning, you can transform your rental into a space that reflects your personality and meets your needs. From clever storage solutions to the use of digital tools, there are numerous ways to enhance your living environment without breaching any rental agreements. Embracing these strategies not only optimizes your space but also makes it feel more like home.
Transform Your Rental with Digital Organization
One of the first steps to creating a more organized living space is to embrace digital document management. By digitizing your paper documents into PDFs, you not only save physical space but also enhance accessibility and security. Using a mobile scanning app, you can easily convert documents into digital formats, aligning with the modern trend of a paperless environment (click for more information). This approach is supported by cloud storage solutions, which offer ample space to back up your digital archives. By integrating these strategies, you can streamline your living area, making it more organized and efficient.

Elevate Your Space with Vertical Storage
Maximizing your living space in a rented apartment can be a challenge, but incorporating vertical storage solutions like wall-mounted shelves can make a significant difference. By utilizing the vertical real estate of your walls, you can free up valuable floor area, creating a more spacious and organized environment. This approach helps in decluttering and keeps essential items within easy reach and at eye level, enhancing accessibility and convenience. Additionally, wall-mounted shelves can serve as a stylish display for decorative items, adding a personal touch to your home without violating rental agreements.

Enhance Your Rental with Strategically Placed Area Rugs
Transforming a rented apartment into a personalized and functional space can be achieved by strategically using area rugs. These versatile decor elements not only add comfort but also help define distinct zones within your home. For instance, placing a large, plush rug under your seating arrangement can create a cohesive and inviting living area. Ensure the front legs of your furniture rest on the rug for a unified look. In the dining area, opt for a durable rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond the table to accommodate chairs, even when pulled out. This approach combines functionality with style, making your space more organized and visually appealing.

Incorporate Stylish Storage Solutions
Incorporating decorative baskets and boxes can be transformative in a rented home, where personalization options might be limited. These versatile storage solutions help you organize smaller items like toiletries, towels, or cleaning supplies and add a unique touch to your decor. By choosing baskets that match your aesthetic, you can turn practical storage into a visually appealing arrangement, making your space feel more like home. For instance, opting for wicker or seagrass baskets can introduce warmth and texture, while cloth baskets can prevent issues like mold in humid areas such as bathrooms.

Add Low-Maintenance Houseplants
Enhancing your rental space with houseplants can create a welcoming and personalized atmosphere without extensive upkeep. Opt for resilient varieties like spider plants, cacti, and succulents, which are perfect for busy lifestyles as they require minimal watering and care. These plants add a touch of nature and improve air quality, especially when you include air-purifying options like the snake plant. For a splash of color and personality, consider plants with vibrant foliage like calathea or philodendron, which can boost your mood and productivity.

Illuminate Your Rental with LED Strip Lighting
Transforming your rented apartment into a personalized haven is easier than you think with the strategic use of LED strip lighting. By installing these versatile lights beneath cabinets or along shelves, you can modernize your space while adhering to rental constraints. LED strips offer aesthetic appeal and practical benefits, such as precise illumination for tasks like reading or cooking. You can easily adjust their brightness using a smartphone controller, creating the perfect ambiance without leaving your seat. This subtle, hidden lighting enhances the visual appeal of open shelving and cabinetry, making your home feel more inviting and stylish.

Personalize Your Rental with a Gallery Wall
Transforming your rental space into a reflection of your personality can be achieved by creating a gallery wall. This approach allows you to add character without making permanent changes. Mixing different frame styles and finishes allows you to create a visually dynamic display that showcases your unique taste. Aim to avoid clustering similar frames together, as this adds depth and interest to your arrangement. While maintaining consistent spacing can lend a professional look, don’t hesitate to incorporate negative space or three-dimensional objects to fill awkward gaps.

Personalize Your Rental with Energy Art
You can also transform your rental space with captivating, larger focal point pieces of energy art. While serving as the vibrant heart of your room, energy art invites transformation and reflection on your authentic self without any permanent changes. It offers a striking alternative to a gallery wall, infusing your space with a bold touch of inspiration and warmth.

Personalizing a rental doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, even with the limitations of a leased space. With a few clever adjustments, you can transform your home into a functional and stylish retreat that reflects your personality. Temporary solutions like peel-and-stick wallpaper, versatile furniture, and smart storage can make a massive difference without risking your security deposit. Thoughtful details, from lighting choices to art and decorative accents, help create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Every small change brings you closer to a rental that feels like home.

I also design energy art pieces that symbolize specific themes or concepts pivotal in your life journey. These art pieces, whether showcased as standalone art or integrated into home décor, are strategically placed to inspire you every time your gaze falls upon them.
Incorporating these elements, I blend the visual appeal of art, the precision of color science, and the transformative power of energy into your Interior Design, fashioning spaces that truly resonate with your essence. Through this alignment, I ensure your space not only looks captivating but also deeply nurtures your well-being.

When your space is better, you are better. When you are better, the world is better. The world needs you. Choose to create a space that is aligned with You.
Every element in your space radiates energy, influencing the environment around it. This means that even the art you showcase isn’t just a visual treat; it actively resonates with and impacts your well-being. Energy art captures the essence of life’s forces, be it physical, emotional, or spiritual. Whether through visual displays, dynamic performances, or conceptual pieces like my energy art, it channels and reflects the vibrant energy inherent in existence.
Drawing inspiration from nature, human emotions, and the intricate web of interconnectedness, it offers a unique lens into the vibrant pulse of life’s energies.

What does yours look like? Darkness and Light #2 by Mary Ann Benoit. There is no light without darkness, or darkness without light. What is Energy Art?
Energy art is a dynamic fusion of mediums, capturing the essence of movement, emotion, force and ideas. It ranges from kinetic sculptures that dance with motion, paintings that pulse with life through vibrant colors and strokes, to melodies that resonate with the energy of sound and rhythm. Whether it’s a dancer expressing life with each move or art installations powered by the sun or magnetism, energy art is a testament to the boundless creative spirit harnessing and reflecting energy in many forms.
Heartfire #9 uses color, light and movement to express the elements of fire and the emotion of taking a path with heart that you are passionate about.
Energy art is a way for artists to portray the vibrant and ever-present forces that animate our world. From ancient civilizations to modern interpretations, artists have continuously sought to express these dynamic energies, creating pieces that resonate through time.
“Frequency” fractal art by Mary Ann Benoit. Our thoughts create our feelings. Our feelings create what we vibrate out to the world, or our frequency. We attract what we put out to the world. Life reflects us. What are you attracting?
Types of Energy Art
Energy art is a broad concept that can encompass various forms and techniques, each aiming to capture, convey, or manipulate intangible energies. Here are some types or approaches to energy art:
Intuitive Art: Created while tapping into one’s subconscious, often without a premeditated plan or outline, allowing the energy of the moment to guide the creative process.
Reiki-infused Art: Some artists combine Reiki, a form of energy healing, with their artistic process to create pieces infused with healing energy.
Sacred Geometry: Incorporating patterns, shapes, and symbols that are believed to represent the blueprint of the universe, such as the Flower of Life or Metatron’s Cube.
Mandala Art: Mandalas are intricate designs starting from a central point and emanating outward, symbolizing the universe, wholeness, or unity.
Chakra Art: Art that targets or represents the body’s energy centers, or chakras, often using colors or symbols associated with each chakra.
Kinetic Art: Art that involves movement, whether powered by wind, motor, or human interaction. The movement can be said to manifest or manipulate energy in the space it occupies.
Fractal Art: Using mathematical algorithms, artists create self-repeating patterns that resemble patterns found in nature, often capturing the essence of infinite energy.
Soundscapes: Although primarily auditory, this form of art uses sound frequencies that resonate with the body’s energy centers or help harmonize the energies in a given space.
Crystal Art: Incorporating crystals and gemstones known for specific energy properties into artwork.
Light Art: Harnessing the power of light, both natural and artificial, to affect the energy of a space.
Digital Energy Art: With evolving technologies, artists can now create digital pieces or visualizations that represent or influence energy.
Interactive Installations: Art pieces that require interaction, absorbing, and sometimes reflecting the energy of the participant.
Ritualistic or Performance Art: The act of creating the art is a ritual in itself, calling upon specific energies or intentions.
Visionary Art: Often influenced by spiritual experiences, dreams, or trance states, this type of art seeks to represent the artist’s vision of spiritual or energetic realms.
While this is by no means an exhaustive list, it gives an idea of the diverse ways artists may approach the concept of energy in their work. The common thread is the intention behind the art – to connect with, convey, or manipulate unseen energies.
My Energy Art
From the list above, my energy art includes Intuitive Art, Sacred Geometry (fractal art), Chakra Art, Fractal Art, Digital energy art (I use AI art combined with Fractal art in collages), and Visionary Art based on transformational/personal development.
My favorite medium lately is creating collages from AI art that is layered with fractal art, so that it layers many energy concepts into one piece.
Fractal Art
Fractal art, a type of art I love working with, employs mathematical algorithms to craft intricate and captivating patterns. These self-replicating designs often mirror the mesmerizing complexities seen in nature, resembling the structures found in plants and animals. The elegance of perfect fractal patterns captures the very essence of beauty itself.
“The Rose” fractal art by Mary Ann Benoit
Fractal art, a distinct branch of energy art, captures energy through intricate designs that exude depth, dynamism, and motion, echoing natural things like lightning strikes, flames, or undulating ocean waves. These self-replicating patterns can be seen in other art forms, such as music and dance, weaving in complex rhythms and mesmerizing sequences.
I create fractal art on my computer.I love working with the brilliant colors, interesting textures, and incredible detail. Learn more about how it is created in my Saturday Night Live Art Show, ” A Passion for Purple” where I show some videos of the process.
Energy Artists
An energy artist channels specific types or qualities of energy into their art, such as emotional, spiritual, or physical energy, by imbuing it with their intention.
They may employ materials, colors, or techniques recognized for their energetic attributes, or incorporate symbols and themes linked to distinct energy types. Spiritual practices, like meditation and visualization, can also be harnessed to infuse the art with energy.
I am an energy artist.
Raven Medicine energy art and Edesign by Mary Ann Benoit. Ravens are associated with magic and the unknown. Things we can learn from ravens are most importantly, to be open to magic, and notice when it happens around you. That means being present and aware of what is happening now, rather than in your head thinking of the millions of things you need to do:). Raven Medicine art in your home inspires you to be open to magic and the unknow, and the opportunites it brings for growth.
How Can Energy Art Help You?
Energy infused art can have a positive impact on you when you interact with it and can affect the energy of the space where it is displayed. While its tangible effects may be subtle and subjective, it’s important to remember that everything possesses energy. Every item in your space contributes to its energy, affecting your well-being. You have the power to curate this environment, choosing what influences you.
I infuse my fractal art with spiritual energy concepts using fractal art, vibrant color, symbols of ancient wisdom, meditation, and visualization. and allowing universal energy to come through me during the creation process. I set my intention using my personal energy for the piece to help someone in a specific way, and for the piece to attract the person who needs it. I craft art layers infused with intentional energy tailored to resonate with and uplift those who bring it into their space.
I firmly believe that if a piece of my art resonates with you, it’s because its energy aligns with what you need to embrace your true self. The synergy between your innate attraction to the artwork and the intentional energy I’ve embedded within it creates a potent energetic harmony in your space, amplifying the desired energy you seek.

Three Tips to Create Your Perfect Space With Fractal Art
Fractal art is a mesmerizing form of digital creativity, born from the intricate calculations of fractal objects. It gives life to both still and animated visuals, offering a world of abstract beauty that I love.
Fractal art, with its vivid palettes, intricate patterns, and flawless symmetry, possesses a certain magic.
In many of my designs, you’ll find spirals—an ever-present symbol with profound meanings. For more insights, you can explore my article ‘What Does Your Art Mean?‘
Spirals, deeply rooted in nature, often symbolize our connection to the divine and universal energy. They embody concepts like harmony, new beginnings, focus, journeys, direction, and progress. The spiral’s graceful progression signifies the path to elevated consciousness.
Imagine the sheer beauty and positive energy these spirals can infuse into your space.”

Creating fractal art is like journeying through a boundless kaleidoscope. I see mesmerizing vistas, and pause where I like to revel in their beauty. I can play, manipulating color, texture, light, and hue, and then can capture these moments into unique designs. However, revisiting these exact moments is like chasing a singular raindrop in a vast sea; utterly elusive. Each creation, therefore, is truly one-of-a-kind.
Join me on a voyage through this digital ‘kaleidoscope’ in the video below.”
Deciding where to stop is our first decision, and as you can see, the possibilities are endless. Once there, we can adjust colors, texture, lightness and more.
When we like the end result, we can freeze the image and then create art, home decor, fashions and more, as you can see in two of my online stores on Society6 and Vida.

Technology, and with it my ability to create with more options is always evolving. Now I work with other fractal art programs and even AI to create art. You can see some of my latest fractal and other energy art on Pixels.com.
So what can you do with it? Use it as a focal point or as an accent to create your perfect space…you know, the place that gives you joy every time you walk in:)
Creating Your Perfect Space with Fractal Art
Before integrating fractal art into your space, consider these three essential tips:
Role of the Art: Decide if your fractal art will be the centerpiece or a complementary element. As a centerpiece, its colors, patterns, and energy should influence the room’s overall design. When playing a secondary role, its size, hue, and placement should harmonize with existing decor.
Color Coordination: Fractal art spans a spectrum from vivid, contrasting hues to monochromatic tones. Choose colors that not only resonate with you but also enhance your existing decor.
Shape Selection: While fractal art commonly employs spirals, it offers a vast array of patterns. Consider how you feel about different shapes—be it intricate, flowing, abstract, or streamlined designs. Do you prefer an artwork with beautiful detail that unveils its story upon closer inspection or one that shows its magic from afar?
Remember, the art’s position, colors, and forms significantly influence the room’s ambiance and your experience within it.

Create Your Perfect Space with Your Own Custom Designed Fractal Art
Try my Aligned Design consultation to get a great plan for the direction to take to create your perfect space. Once I see your house I can envision what type of fractal art could be perfect for you.
You may think that home staging is just cleaning, reducing clutter, fixing things, painting, and putting your house on the market.
Those things are all important and are all things you can do to help save money in preparing your house for sale.
You can also clean your yard, put things away, trim your trees and shrubs, and repair things. Get a fresh welcome mat for the door.
So why bother hiring a home stager when you can do all those things yourself?
There are a lot of decisions to be made that can make or cost you money. Do you have the confidence you know the right answers to the following questions?
What paint colors should you use for a higher sales price?
Who is your target market based on a variety of factors related to the real estate market?
How should your home look compared to others in a similar price range so you can outshine the competition?
What do buyers in a different age group than you really want and what will attract them to connect with your house?
What repairs and upgrades will give you a good return on your investment and which ones will just cost you the money you will never get back.
What things can you do to emotionally connect with buyers, without looking like you are trying to do that?
Will your furniture and current decor really work for staging and attracting buyers or do you just think so because you are not seeing things objectively?
Is your furniture perfectly arranged to highlight the space and best features of the house?
Can you get furniture, art, and more for staging if needed, without having to buy it? After all, you are moving. Who wants to buy more stuff.
Do you know good, reliable tradespeople to do the work needed for you in a timely manner for your home sale?
If your answer is no, it is really worth it for you to hire a professional home stager. They want to make sure you get the most for your home sale!
