Here are three tips to consider before adding fractal art to your space.
1. Determine if your fractal art is going to be the focal point of the room. If so, the colors, shapes, and energy of the art should guide the rest of the design. If it is going to play more of a supporting role, consider that when selecting the colors, size or location.
2. Determine your color palette. Fractal art can have a wide range or brilliant, contrasting colors or be more monochromatic. Select a color palette that gives you joy and also works with your other decor.
3. Determine what shapes appeal to you. Fractal art often uses spiral shapes, but not always. Straight lines are less common. What shapes appeal to you and work with your furniture? Do you love curves or a more modern, streamlined look. The shapes can be very intricate and detailed, or more flowy and abstract. Which do you prefer, a piece that tells more of a story with closer inspection or creates more of a beautiful image from a distance?
The placement in the room, the colors, and the shapes all affect the energy of the room and how you feel in it.
You know I love your fractal art! Those bioluminescence ones are my favorites, both the shapes and the colors are calling my name!
